Use controlled `Eligible Own Funds SCR` and `Final SCR` values when you want the simplified SCR coverage ratio. This page is most useful after the numerator has been prepared on `Eligible Own Funds`.

Input Terms

  • Eligible Own Funds_{SCR}: Simplified eligible own funds available to cover the SCR under the visible tier-balance view.
  • Final SCR: Final SCR used in the MCR corridor and coverage ratios.
  • Eligible Own Funds: Eligible own funds available to cover the SCR.
  • SCR Requirement: SCR requirement used as the denominator for SFCR disclosure.

Calculation

The calculator divides Eligible Own Funds SCR by Final SCR and expresses the result as a percentage coverage ratio.

  • SCR Ratio: Review this value as part of the final calculator output and reconcile it to the supporting inputs and formula steps.
  • Reconcile Eligible Own Funds SCR and Final SCR to controlled source data before relying on the result.
  • Check that SCR Ratio moves in the expected direction when you stress the main drivers.
